Fun Things To Do In Dallas Metroplex
There are many fun things to do in Dallas on a romantic weekend.
Start with a romantic dinner at Reunion Towers. Diners can enjoy some of the best food in town at this restaurant located 560 feet in the air. Even better, the restaurant rotates while the diner is eating allowing the diner to see the complete Dallas nightline in the course of an hour.
Then depending on the season, there is often a great game in town.Check out this link here. Rather it be the Texas Rangers or the Dallas Mavericks, seeing a game with a loved one makes it all the more special.
Early the next morning head to the Dallas zoo, for a quiet stroll among the animals. One of the most romantic places at the zoo is on the train to the outback. Guests will also be delighted with the opportunity to feed the butterflies and the world famous aviary.
Then, head to the nearby Dallas Arboretum. The best time to visit the arboretum is in March as the spring flowers are all in bloom. Be prepared to be fascinated by the many story houses that are located inside the arboretum, along with the great flowers.
Early the next day head to Fair Park. Something is always happening at Fair Park. Pay special attention to the many art deco murals that decorate the walls along the streets. Also make sure and visit the fountain. Couples will be very moved with the Texas Vietnam War Memorial.
Couples who love to debate need to plan a visit to the JFK shooting site. The old warehouse building makes a fascinating place to learn about the shooting of President Kennedy. See if you think that Oswald was truly the assassin and if he worked alone.
